PREVALENSI DIABETES DISTRESS DAN ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DIABETES DISTRESS PADA PASIEN DM TIPE 2 DI PUSKESMAS KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Diagnosis Diabetes Melitus (DM) sering menyebabkan pasien pada kondisi rentan terjadi stres yang disebabkan pasien merasa kesulitan dengan banyaknya tuntutan perawatan diri dengan DM. Tuntutan perawatan diri ini mengharuskan pasien DM untuk dapat menyesuaikan diri yang kemudian dapat menimbulkan ketidaksanggupan sehingga dapat berdampak buruk pada kesehatan dan risiko komplikasi. Kondisi inilah yang disebut dengan Diabetes Distress. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui prevalensi Diabetes Distress dan faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Diabetes Distress di Puskesmas Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Diabetes Distress pada pasien DM Tipe 2. Proses pengambilan sampel dengan teknik accidental sampling di Puskesmas Kabupaten Semarang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi logistik metode Backward untuk mengetahui hubungan sebab-akibat dengan menentukan nilai Y (Diabetes Distress) dan untuk menaksir nilai-nilai yang berhubungan dengan X (umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, lama menderita DM, dan penyakit penyerta). Metode Backward digunakan untuk mendapatkan variabel yang paling berhubungan dengan kejadian Diabetes Distress. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi Diabetes Distress pada penelitian ini yaitu sebesar 36% pasien mengalami distress ringan, 57,6% pasien mengalami distress sedang dan 6,4% distress berat. Variabel durasi menderita DM menjadi faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan kejadian Diabetes Distress (p=0,039). Pasien diabetes dengan durasi menderita DM ≥ 5 tahun berisiko 2,145 kali lipat mengalami Diabetes Distress.
