Unemployment is a socio-economic problem that has many negative impacts on society. Therefore, overcoming unemployment is a priority in development. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the unemployment rate in Semarang Regency. This research uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the form of population based on the projection results of the 2020 Population Census, Gross Regional Income (GRDP), and Community Development Index (HDI) for the period 2010 to 2023. Using Multiple Linear Regression, we obtained The results of the variables population size, GRDP and HDI have a significant influence on the unemployment rate in Semarang Regency.
