Pengaruh Posisi Pengelasan Terhadap Uji Tarik Dengan Material Baja St 60

Welding is an inseparable part of industrial growth because it plays a major role in engineering and repair of metal production. So it is almost impossible to grow a factory without involving welding. The most widely used welding methods are liquid welding with an arc (Electric Arc Welding) and gas. Not all metals have good weldability, including medium alloy steel. The problem limit in this research is St 60 steel plate, welding using DC electric welding with RB E70024 electrodes with a diameter of 2.6 mm, with a current variation of 70 Amperes, using a single V type with angles of 50,150,300,450,600, the test carried out is the angle welding position camp V and tensile test. This research was conducted to determine the comparison and influence of electric current strength in St 60 steel material on the welding position of V seam corners and tensile test results of 638.43 Mpa, while variations in current strength experienced a decrease of 44.91 Mpa, 1167 respectively. 67 Mpa and 178.7 Mpa for the rew material group.
